Sweep Picking
Hi! One of the most impressive technique in guitar playing is "Sweeping" ala Yngwie Malmsteen style. The logic of the technique is to strike the strings towards one direction, either up or down without each notes over lapping each other, it is also called Economy Picking.
There are many sweep masters out there but here are some sweep picking licks that might help you impress your friends or perhaps your dog.
Lick number #1 is from the neo classical guru Yngwie Malmsteen in his song entitled "Never Die".
Make sure that each note is executed properly, notes should be done with clarity. Remember, precision over speed.
